After achieving 50,000 subscribers within a month of uploading her first video, she was featured in a video about gaming by PewDiePie. Taylor's Youtube channel surpassed 100,000 subscribers within two years. Taylor ceased to produce videos and put them on the internet in private. Her main reasons were technical issues, new equipment malfunctions, and the fact that she became overwhelmed by her fame. She began producing videos after the break of one month. This included the extremely well-known ASMR Ten Triggers to Help You Sleep. (35,000,000 views in the end of August, 2022). In July 2017, she released another very popular video ASMR 20 Triggers To Help to To Sleep (38 million views by the month of August, 2022). She was in August 2017 interviewed in the Shane Dawson videoand shortly after she reached 1 million viewers on YouTube. Wired UK calculated that she made $1,000 every each day through her YouTube Channel in February 2019.

Dennis Helfer is a Canadian farmer, and Elaine Helfer, a Canadian woman, were her parents. The couple is from German and English descendance. She was a graduate of Stettler's William E. Hay Composite High School. Three of her sisters Tammy, Tara and Trena worked and lived on her family's farm. An agent scout spotted Helfer aged 17 when she was waiting in line to see a film.
